Spanky Revolution's "We Won't Die" is Spanky's 6th album, and his second pom2 album. Trying to win the hearts of the fans of his previous work, spanky took time into learning about the idea of music theory, and it shows throughout this album.  In my first review, I will rate each song individually, and give a final album score after that.  so let us begin.

Bleed, Bleed is a heavy song that truly shows the violent song that the title suggests it is. While this song doesn't show too much music theory, it is either one fans will love or hate. As i have listened to this song, it has grown on me and i do enjoy it much more than i did in the past, the song itself is given a 7/10

Jump On the Train! (Runaway) is a progressive rock song that gives you the feel that you are trying to jump on a train truly. The song has a tendency make you feel like as you are listening to it the tune is speeding up, much like a train truly does.Spanky truly does get the feel for harmony, melody, and more in this song and it comes out beautifully in this song. 10/10

Riot is more of a normal rock tune, not exactly heavy, but still is, in a way, a general rock tune. It is a very strong piece put together very nicely. The only problem with this song are some of the chord structures are at times a little dissonant or don't blend well. Still a very well put together though. 7/10

Anthem is a song you can tell had some enhancements within them. This works very well for the song as it is a bass focused song. This song is also among one of Spanky's best work, and it may very well be because of the enhancements that were made the song as good as it is. Nonetheless it is a 10/10

Rick James Was a Classy Man is a very short tune that really transfers into the second half of the album. It’s a very heavy, fast song that closely resembles "No Rush" made by TheGhostOfRickJames. To speed up the song even he raised the BPS (Beats per Second) from 170 to 180. It is the perfect short song to help move into the second part. He also uses custom drums throughout the song, which makes this song one of a kind. 10/10

Broken Hearts Never Heal is a one of the most epic songs on here with no doubts at all. The only problem with this song is that it is not originally written by Spanky Revolution. It is actually a remake of Madmatt09's song of the same name (Done with permission) as it is not an original concept, I cannot give this a 10/10, but it is deserving of an 8/10

You Wanna Sink (So I'm Gonna Let You) is one of the heavier songs that start by getting your heart pumping to the beats of the drum and guitar. It pulls you in and doesn't let you go throughout the song. While the guitar is doing that, the bass is leading the charge with the melody. It is then that you are suddenly attacked with a wall of sound by the guitars. The first half of the song follows this style, and then it abruptly changes into song that is focused more heavily on the guitars and a melodic rock format. It is the most original songs that are on the album, and it pulls off its style with much greatness. 10/10

Tout Doit Brûler is a collaboration song between Spanky and Spectre, which is one of the better collabs i have heard throughout the year of pom. The attack of these Canadians is one that i believe that everybody will enjoy. The transitions are nearly flawless between the two artists, and it came together in true beauty. 10/10

Rome is Burning is the biggest disappointments of the songs on here in this reviewers mind. Dissonance everywhere throughout the song. While there is the chance for this song to be great and use the dissonance, it is very overused. The dual lead guitar part is very sweet with the echo effect, but that might be the only thing that truly makes this song enjoyable 5/10

Snow On Manhattan (Never Drop My Hands) is the first single from this song, so previous opinions of this album were from the release of this song. It is one of Spanky's better songs and fits the idea of the winter and is truly enjoyable by all who hear it. 10/10

We Won't Die is the song that the album is named after and is the final song of the album, which does give a truly finale feel. Some of the parts that help transition back into the main part of the song seem very out of place from the rest of the song. After time moves on though it lets us know again why Spanky named the album after this song, and why it is deserving of a 9/10

The entire album all together is very well put together and it shows that Spanky Revolution is back to being back into the world of pom dominance, or pominance. It is vastly a huge improvement in comparison of his first POM2 album "Racing the Sunset” Together this album is well deserving of a 15/20, or 7.5/10

Poe's words of wisdom: You have made a HUGE improvement from your first album in every way, but don't let that stop you from continuing to learn more about music theory.  As you learn more about theory, you will be able to truly understand everything about the music language how to truly speak it.  I am very glad that i am reviewing this album, and very glad that you have shown so much improvement so quickly.
